CONTEMPORARY ART FAIR

The 21st edition of Art Madrid will be held from March 4 to 8, 2026 in the Galería de Cristal of the Palacio Cibeles. With a solid trajectory and a defined identity, Art Madrid is presented as a dynamic and interdisciplinary platform that brings together about 40 national and international galleries with proposals focused on recently produced contemporary artworks.
Application forms are accepted until 7th October 2025.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Art Madrid is a fair focused exclusively on the primary market. The participating galleries professionally follow an exhibition program, their main activity being the promotion, visibility, and commercialization of contemporary art.
Aimed at a broad and specialized audience, Art Madrid combines a careful artistic selection with a firm commitment to the professionalization of the sector and the promotion of gallery work. In addition to the gallery program, the fair develops a parallel program of activities during the month of February, which promotes the dissemination, reflection, and dialogue between cultural agents, collectors, and new audiences.

GALLERIES PROGRAM
In each edition, the Art Madrid gallery program brings together about 40 exhibitors, both national and international, who present proposals focused on recently created contemporary artworks.
PARALLEL PROGRAM
The Art Madrid parallel program is carried out as a platform for analysis, research, and critical thinking around contemporary issues. This programming line incorporates cross-cutting discourses and interdisciplinary approaches that allow addressing current challenges from artistic practice, curating, and cultural production.
COLLECTOR’S PROGRAM
Art Madrid offers a specialized advisory service for galleries and the general public interested in acquiring artworks.
ACTIVITIES
The Art Madrid’26 programming will include a series of activities that will take place throughout the month of February and during Madrid Art Week in the Galería de Cristal of the Palacio de Cibeles. In this edition, in addition to the pre-fair activities, the third installment of the Open Booth, the Performance Cycle, the Lecturas: Art Madrid Curated Walk-throughs, and the Interview Section will be maintained.

This program is possible thanks to the commitment of collaborating entities, collectors, and private companies that, through their support, actively contribute to strengthening the cultural fabric and consolidating new forms of patronage.

Art Madrid joins forces with institutions and companies to support artistic creation and gallery work at the fair through the presentation of several awards.
EMERGING ARTIST
Our sponsors, as part of their commitment to promoting contemporary art, will provide an award to one of the participating emerging artists at the fair.
RESIDENCY AWARD
An award that will be given to one of the participating artists in this edition, intended for carrying out an artist residency.
